I have ways around their belligerence. I have people who actually give a fuck about me, and god dammit I plan to savour them. I decided not to drop it because I thought they deserved another chance.

I was wrong.

They dont deserve anything from me, and dammit Im sick of caring about people who dont give a fuck about me. I will continue to care about those who care in return. I refuse to bend over backwards for some unrequited sentimental bullshit. If Im that dispensible, then dammit so are they.

Im sick of trying to get people who have forgotten me to be a part of my life. If they dont want me, fine. I dont want them either. It may be selfish, foolish, whatever, but who wants friends who act like enemies?

Nobody wants to go it on their own. But being alone is better than being surrounded by shallowness and lies.
