Why the Caged Bird Sings

I know why they end most love stories with both lovers dying together - it gives closure. Had they not loved eachother to their dying breath, there would be speculation that one got over the other, they got in a fight, that something split them up. Even marriage is only "to death do us part" - and people dont like that. People dont like admiting that time heals all wounds, that you can get over anything. They prefer to believe that once you fall in love, everything is good and full and it never ends. That you dont have to worry about mourning for someone you've lost.

Ashame life doesnt work that way.

I want to be a writer. I want to invent a world where everyone is happy, where they have problems they can overcome, and do.

I want to create my own reality.
